Pit is the protagonist of the Child Icarus series. He first appeared in Child Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986, followed by an appearance in Child Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy in 1991. Other than a handful of cameos, Pit didn't make another major advent until the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in 2008, and again in the 2012 Nintendo 3DS title Kid Icarus: Insurgence.
Pit is Palutena's most loyal servant, also equally the helm of her royal bodyguards. Before the events of the first game, Medusa turns all of Palutena's angels into rock, simply sparing Pit because he couldn't fly. Concrete Appearance
In the original Child Icarus, Pit appears as a young, Putto-like angel wearing a simple, white chiton, and a pair of sandals and metallic cuffs. He has short, brown hair and white wings that are incapable of flight. Starting in Of Myths and Monsters, he now possesses blueish eyes and a laurel crown.
